In the aftermath of World War II, Josef Mengele, the Nazi Doctor from the Auschwitz camp, manages to flee to South America to start a new life in hiding. From Buenos Aires to Paraguay, via Brazil, the man referred to as « The Angel of Death » will methodically orchestrate his disappearance to avoid any form of trial.

I chose to co-produce this film because of the power of the narrative and Kirill Serebrennikov’s uncompromising vision. The film is an embodiement of activist cinema, questioning memory, escape, and guilt, with rare artistic boldness. It is an opportunity for me to support a strong body of work, both political and deeply human.
