Beyond being just a production house, Scala Films is a vow !
In alignement with the “Projet Scala” that I founded with Frédéric Biessy in 2018, which encapsulates La Scala Paris, La Scala Provence, the label Scala Music and the school – l’Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Rire, Scala Films excludes no genre and no form. It is the vessel for all the thoughts and currents which transcend and feed artistic creation.
This ambitious project, guaranteeing full fledged independence, affirms the freedom of it’s choices and it’s actions. Scala Films provides artists adequate tools : spaces in which they can create, screen and present.
A first page is already being written in collaboration with CG Cinéma with whom Scala Films is already associated on Kirill Serebrennikov’s next film, La Disparition and Arnaud Desplechin’s Spectateurs !
